Nigella Lawson’s Kitchen Gift Guide

Every time a new Nigella series hits the TV, I find myself falling in love with her all over again. As someone who adores being in the kitchen and has no formal training, I love Nigella’s ‘home cook’ attitude and the pleasure she takes in feeding others and more importantly feeding herself.

Not only do I fall in love with Nigella, but I also fall in love with the beautiful kitchen set she uses for the show. I always find myself making a kitchen wish list of things I’d love to have in my kitchen and this year is no exception. So here’s my Cook, Eat Repeat inspired gift guide for foodies everywhere.

Salt Grater.jpg

Only Nigella could do a whole segment about salt on toast (that’s why we lover her, right?) so this gift is for all the salt overs out there. Forget a grinder of Himalayan salt, this is the way to do it in 2021.

Salt Grater, £25, Not On The Highstreet

Vintage Goblets.jpg

The gorgeous pink glasses that Nigella uses to serve up her cherries jubilee are probably vintage, but these wine tumblers are a good replacement and would add a vibrant burst of colour to any dining table.

Set of four tumblers, £29.95, Not On The Highstreet

Baking can be easy, but it’s a science with rules to be followed, and these chic rose gold measures are chic way to ensure you get the best result. precise.

Pink Le Creuset Cast Iron .jpg

With their iconic design and multitude of colours, Le Creuset dishes have been a stalwart of wedding gift lists for as long as they’ve been around. They may be expensive, but their lifetime guarantee makes them a worthwhile investment that can be passed down generations.

Nigella Eat Cook Repeat.jpg

In our house, when a new Nigella book is released you can guarantee that there will be at least three of them under the tree wrapped up waiting to be gifted to eachother. It’s happened so many times, it’s become a running family joke and I can’t wait to receive this from my mother this year.

Eat, Cook, Repeat hardback, £26, Amazon

Red+Trim+Enamel+Dishes.jpg

Blue trim is out, and red trim is in according to the original domestic goddess. Available in a range of sizes their wide rims ensure you have space for the perfect crust, every time.

Falconware Pie Dishes, £20 (for 6), The Edinburgh Kitchen

Copper KitchenAid.jpg

Every series, a classic Kitchen Aid takes centre stage, and while this series it might be pink, the copper one will forever stay in my heart as the most beautiful mixer of all. This really is what kitchen dreams are made of.

Stand Mixer 4.8L, £799, KitchenAid

Glass Saucepan.jpg

Who else didn’t realised they were desperate for a glass saucepan until they saw Nigella cook spaghetti in hers? Sadly this won’t work on my induction hob so it will have to stay on my wish list for a while longer.

Glass saucepan, 16.99, Amazon

GochujangHotPepperPaste.jpg

Nigella often creates food trends (remember the great salted caramel boom) and I think gochujang will be no exception. It’s extremely versatile, not to mention wildly delicious so once you try it, it’s pretty hard to add a little to most dishes.

Gochujang Paste, from £3.99, Souschef
